"Useful, Informative & Friendly. Well Worth the Time."
The VVAN has developed into an extremely useful resource for voluntary and community groups serving the Vale. Since its inception, a little over a year ago, attendance at the quarterly meetings has more than doubled and more and more groups are able to pick up valuable information and advice via topical presentations and take advantage of the networking opportunities that are available.
Interesting and informative presentations have been made on the following topics over the last year:
| | Applying to Trust Funds |
| | The Vale Learning Network |
| | E-Learning in the voluntary sector |
| | Broadband technology and the voluntary sector |
| | Book-keeping for small groups |
| | Enter Disability Wales "Potentia" project |
| | Sports Council for Wales funding programmes |
| Comic Relief funding presentation |
| Lloyds TSB Foundation Wales presentation |
The next meeting is:
Tuesday 19th October in the Community Enterprise Centre, Skomer Road, Barry. All meetings commence at 10 am and last around two hours. For further information please contact Dave Edwards at VCVS.
