New Health, Social Care and Well Being Directory
VCVS recently launched it's Directory of Health, Social Care and Well Being Voluntary Organisations Operating in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The aim of the Directory is to raise awareness and share information on the diverse range of voluntary organisations, community and self-help groups that provide Health, Social Care and Well Being services in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The information used for the Directory is also being included NHS Direct Wales database thereby raising the profile of voluntary sector health, social care and well being services. As well as being a useful resource for the community it will help inform Health and Social Care personnel in the statutory, private and voluntary sectors, of the services available and enable them to signpost patients, service users and carers accordingly.
The Directory not only lists the kind of services we traditionally associate with Health and Social Care, but also includes those that promote well being and healthy lifestyles.
Any organisation wishing to be included in the Directory and / or NHS Wales Direct database can submit their information by downloading the appropriate form - or by requesting a form by emailing VCVS or by phone - 01446 741706.
